Beyond awesome

Yesterday, I made my first chutney. It was delicious, people. I mean, chutney normally is a yummy experience but when you make it yourself, it adds a whole new dimension. (Cooking Light's pork chops with apple chutney, if you want to make it yo' damn self.) And then, as a reward for all that time slaving over a hot stove, we watched Bolt. I've been waiting to see it since J.R. took the kids while I was away for Thanksgiving. It was just as good as the chutney, though I don't know how long J.R.'s going to let me get away with saying, "I'll get my ball," every other minute.
