Rookie mistake

Now that my shopping is finished (well, mostly), I thought I'd check up on my credit card balance to see how well I stuck to my "I'm unemployed but I still love you" Christmas budget. Um, yeah. Why did I do that again? There's a reason they wait until after Christmas to send you the bill -- so you can enjoy your gift-giving and receiving in peace, instead of looking at your gifts and thinking, "That's $50 plus compound interest that I'll never see again." Also, I'm really not sure I love everyone this much. And I don't believe all this crap they keep saying about the economy. I mean, if I'm blowing this much cash, what are people with actual incomes doing? Being prudent? My ass.
