Surprise!

I've been away from the blog (and the internets in general) because J.R. conspired with a certain friend to give me an awesometastic surprise -- Melanie is here! Well, to be fair, Melanie has been here for a few days, and I was just too busy to inform the rest of the world. I was all sitting in my comfy pants, watching Biggest Loser on the DVR and waiting for J.R. to come home from "working late," when he walks in and informs me that he brought me something. I'm expecting flowers, or maybe a snack, when in walks Melanie. Way better than chocolates, people. I'm just saying.
