Don't get burned

I've started watching Burn Notice -- just in time for the second season. I gotta say, I'm loving the summer start, especially since USA kicked it off with a first-season marathon, allowing me to catch up. I love the snarky lead character, played to perfection by Jeffrey Donovan (who I don't remember from the Pretender, but that was a while back). However, I don't really like Gabrielle Anwar, for a couple of reasons: it seems like she's done something horrific to her lips; the character isn't written that well; and despite the fact that they've ditched her Irish accent from the pilot, she still seems like she's talking funny. Bygones. Sharon Gless makes up for nearly everything.
