Alien nation

We went to see Martian Child today (what with the kids and all, we couldn't see Gone Baby Gone). It was sweet, and it only made me cry a little bit (though the preview for the next John Cusack movie had me weepy from the get-go), and, oh, by the way, I love John Cusack. Pretty much no matter what, although Must Love Dogs was pretty bad (truthfully, though, I blame that on Diane Lane). Bygones. The point is, the film posited that children are like aliens newly arrived to Earth, which I can kind of see. Especially after following the movie up with some more Kid Nation with Jen.
