Stop! Hammer time

I have the worst kind of headache today -- not only did I wake up with it, but it's what I have now deemed the "hammer-claw headache." Imagine if someone hit you on the side of the head with a claw-headed hammer and you lived. That's what it feels like -- as if I were recovering today from a hammer blow yesterday. But what's worse is that the steady pain is accompanied by jagged flashes of pain that occur at random intervals, as if (after yesterday's hammer abuse) today they needed to drive nails into my skull. I'm kind of upset about the whole thing actually, because who would want to hit me with a hammer? That's not nice.
