Warning: Slippery when covered in ice

It's amazing how less than an inch of snow can cause more mayhem than two feet of the powder. The snow immediately turned to ice, which immediately turned the roads into fun car playgrounds, perfect for spinning around and making figure eights. Well, except for the other cars you inevitably crash into, dammit. Luckily, I was not among the many crashes this morning, though I had a few close calls. I was looking forward to a semi-relaxing day, and the white-knuckle drive was not an auspicious start.
