For some reason, I needed to listen to the Dawson's Creek soundtrack today, so I borrowed a friend's copy. Listening to that music took me right back to 1998 ... when technically I was too old to be watching Dawson's Creek. (I was breaking up with my girlfriend at the time, people. Sometimes you need depressing teen melodrama. There's no shame.)
London Rain had a particular resonance for me today. I keep hearing "nobody heals me like you do," which isn't quite right. One of my friends is struggling, and I want to kiss it and make it all better. Apparently, I can't fix everything, but I don't know why.
